Hi! I’m Mary Ann!

In 2016 I had a baby. Then I had another. Then I went back to work 10 months later. Life got really hard, really quick. And I was EXHAUSTED.

At the same time our home looked like it had been taken over by primary coloured plastic objects! I barely had time to have a shower let alone organize all the stuff we had accumulated.

Seriously…where did it all come from?

Something had to change. 

Since then I’ve been on a mission to simplify modern life - by purging and organizing.

I became DILIGENT about the stuff in our house. I started to view every item as something that either made our life easier or made it harder.

Since decluttering our home, every aspect of our lives has changed. And I want that for you too!

What to Expect.

  • The Clean Sweep is the first component - and VERY satisfying!

    This is where we declutter, purge and edit items in the home that are no longer loved or used.

    By the end of this component you will have learned what is most important to you and your family and how to trust your instincts about what to keep. And you will instantly feel lighter!

  • Once we’ve decided on the most useful and joy-sparking items, we re-set your spaces in a functional and beautiful way.

    This is where we add labels, bins, hooks - any new products that we may need.

    By the end of this component the spaces will be set-up in a way that’s going to make day-to-day life more efficient, less stressful and make your home enjoyable to be in.

  • As we move through your home, I want you to become empowered to follow the systems we implement, create new systems of your own, and feel confident to keep going

    By the end of your overhaul you will develop new habits to power you forward.

  • The final (and potentially most important) component of The Gold Overhaul is The Lifestyle Reboot.

    The goal of this aspect is to change the way you and your family look at your home, your stuff and how you manage all that stuff.

    By the end our time together you will have determined what’s most important to your family and will be on your way to a life filled with more peace and more time for sparking joy!

What will I recieve?

  • We start with a 30 minute in-home or virtual session to assess spaces and discuss priorities.

  • This is where the magic happens!

    You will receive two Professional Organizers for 4 sessions, scheduled to best accommodate your busy schedule.

  • Labels can be a fantastic way of adding function to a space.

    Basic labels are included in The Gold Overhaul.

    For clients looking to upgrade to custom labels, we can do that too!

  • Yes, we take your donations!

    One car-load at the end of each session.

  • The Gold Overhaul includes a complimentary shopping service.

    During the consultation we discuss your priorities for style, budget and function when it comes to bins, containers, hooks, etc.

    We do the shopping and at the end of the project, you simply reimburse Find Your Gold for items used.

  • After our final in-home session, you will receive a resource guide designed specifically for your family, to encourage lasting change.

FAQs

  • Absolutely. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and supported.

    You have the option to allow photos to be used for the website/social media - no obligation at all!

    We want you to succeed!

  • This will depend on the size of each space and the amount of items in the space, however the Gold Overhaul normally focuses on 2-4 spaces.

  • We are located in Belleville, Ontario and offer in-person services to the entire Bay of Quinte Region and beyond, including, but not limited to: Belleville, Trenton, Stirling and Prince Edward County.

    60 minutes of round trip travel time is complimentary (approx. 30kms from Belleville).  Any additional travel time is billed at $60 per hour.

  • Not necessarily.

    If the project requires a lot of purging then we may need you home (or close by) to make decisions.

    However if the project is simply organizing existing items then we are happy to work solo.

  • First step is to schedule an initial consultation.

    I come to your home, review your spaces and discuss your priorities.

    Consults are 30 minutes and free of charge. And can be done virtually if you prefer.
